Wrapping Up the Season at House Mountain!

Wrapping Up the Season at House Mountain!

On September 13–14, Kayleigh and a team of seven riders headed to the Virginia Horse Center to compete in the final House Mountain show of the season—and what a fantastic way to wrap things up!

Every horse and rider combination put in stellar performances, and we’re thrilled to share some exciting highlights:

🏆 Circuit Champion Alert!
Alexis Hinds and Envy (owned by Kayleigh Burke) had an incredible weekend—earning Champion in the Intermediates and taking home Circuit Champion honors in the Special Children/Adult division!

Sydney Kinster and Bonfire were Reserve Champion in the ultra-competitive Green Hunters.

Lindsay Klein and her horse Cassanova’s Fiddler had consistent, top-notch rides in the Specials—placing in every class out of 10 impressive entries! They also took 3rd in the $500 Open Derby, ahead of several professionals!

Kayleigh piloted Wisdom of Oz (owned by Victoria Pass) to Reserve Champion in the Hopeful Hunters, a division that saw 11 talented contenders.

Anna Lucy and her horse Back to the Future laid down solid rounds in the Hopefuls—placing 1st, 4th, and 5th!

Liz Hinds and Fergalicious brought home a big WIN in the .7m Jumpers—way to go!

Kayleigh also had great rounds aboard Legally Blonde in both the .95m Jumpers and the 3’3” Working Hunters.

Additionally, Kayleigh competed in the Trainer Equitation Challenge to help raise money for the SWVHJA Junior Committee.

We are so proud of everyone—riders, horses, owners, and supporters—for an amazing close to the season.

A huge thank you to Capps Ridge Photography for capturing the weekend so beautifully! If you were at House Mountain, be sure to check out her page for photos.

And of course, none of this would be possible without our wonderful sponsors: Pony Policy and Arion Saddles. Thank you for supporting our team!
