Great Ribbons at Lynchburg Equestrian

McDonald Equine had a fun and refreshing August weekend at Lynchburg Equestrian. With cooler weather and a great group of horses and riders, it was the perfect setting to wrap up another successful show.

Weekend Highlights:

Envy & Alexis Hinds had a fantastic show, earning Reserve Champion in the Special Children’s Hunters, along with second place in the Hollins Medal and Equitation on the Flat.

Fergalicious & Alexis Hinds also impressed, bringing home Reserve Champion in the Intermediate Equitation.

Good Thing I’m Best & Kayleigh Burke claimed Champion in the combined Low/TB/Working Hunters, proudly owned by Caroline Leeth.

Cassanovas Fiddler & Lindsay Klein tied for Champion/Reserve Champion in the Special Adult Hunters, rounding out a strong weekend for this team.

Port More and GiveItYourBestShot came along for some valuable off-property schooling. Both horses had a great experience and handled the atmosphere well.

Legally Blonde & Kayleigh Burke had several solid trips in the 3’3” Working Hunters.

We were also excited to see El Capitan, a horse we recently helped sell. It was a joy to watch him in the ring, happy and thriving in his new home.
