Virginia Tech Emily Jane Memorial Horse Show

This past Friday and Saturday, McDonald Equine headed down the road to Virginia Tech to compete in the Emily Jane Hilscher Memorial SWVHJA Horse Show in Blacksburg, VA. With 11 horses showing and 2 more along for schooling, it was a busy and rewarding weekend filled with valuable learning experiences for both horses and riders. The team had a strong showing across the board, earning numerous ribbons and building confidence in and out of the ring. We’re proud of everyone’s efforts and can’t wait to be back out again with all these riders and horses.

• 2’3” Hopeful Hunter: Reserve Champion 2nd, 2nd, 3rd

Katherine Hall and Chicago Man:

• Long Stirrup Hunter: Reserve Champion 1st, 2nd, 5th

• Green Hunters: 1st, 3rd

Jennifer Hendrix and Gaylord Captain:

• Low Hunters: 5th, 5th, 6th

Kayleigh Burke and Gaylord Captain:
